If my facebook newsfeed is a barometer of the current mood of the general population, then everyone is feeling some post-Valentine’s blues. It is cold, it is dark, and beers on a patio is still not a viable option. At least there’s a long weekend coming, amIright?
In a few posts I have mentioned grapeseed oil vegenaise as one of my favorite condiments. It is light and fluffy and creamy. It really hits the spot when you are craving a sandwich condiment. Not only is it great for veggie peeps, but it is fabulous for the humans in your life who are dealing with cholesterol issues – ’cause there is none of that shiz in this spread.
Did that cheer you up? I know I feel a bit better.

You’ve posted about a lot of great specialty vegan foodie items (condiments, etc.) that aren’t sold at the big grocery stores. Can you also provide the name(s) of the store(s) where they’re available? In Toronto?
Cheers!
Thanks for your question! It is hard to find some of these healthier vegan products. I have only found the grapseed oil vegenaise for sale at Whole Foods. So far everything else I have written about can be found there, occasionally it is also available at Noah’s. I’ll try and say specifically when you should be able to find something at your local. For example – the Cuties appear to be sold everywhere.
